My name is Kelsey Nishi Darling and I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii.

I started my calligraphy business in 2012 and I have had the extraordinary honor to be mentored by the amazing and uber-talented Suzanne Cunningham, master copperplate calligrapher.

Creating new lettering styles and turning words into tangible products is something I thrive on and love to do.

Hawaii's amazing community is another reason why I love what I do. The islands are full of such talented entrepreneurs that inspire me so much, and the people here are what motivate my work–helping to make their special moments even more memorable: weddings, new babies and gifts to cheer you up during rough times.

When I am not working in my studio, garage, or on the dining table, I love to garden, foster little animals, and spend time with my Husband and fur babies, Padma, Penny, Pickles, Zozo and Garfy.
